QUALIFICATIONS:

1.High school diploma or equivalent
2.Additional criteria as the Board may establish

 

REPORTS TO: Principal

SUPERVISES: None

 

JOB GOAL: To perform assigned duties efficiently and in a manner that will facilitate the smooth functioning of the school and its program.

 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBLITIES:

1. Perform general office work in relieving the school secretary of routine office duties.
2. Receive and distribute mail
3. Type correspondence and handbook materials, as requested by the principal.
4. Maintain a school filing system.
5. Duplicate office materials.
6. Prepare school reports:
A. Bus reports
B. Lunch reports
C. Student Reports
D. Staff Attendance Reports
7. Greet visitors and direct them according to need.
8. Answer and place telephone calls.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by the proper authority.
10. Perform computer tasks as requested by the proper authority.
11. Adhere to confidentiality guidelines.
12. Conform to the regular time schedule for arriving at school and leaving school.
13: He/she shall be on the job at all times except in case of personal emergency, sickness, or as released for school-related business by the principal and/or superintendent. In the event that he/she has to be absent, the principal shall be notified In a timely manner.
14. Continued employment based upon student enrollment.

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYEMENT: 9 Months

 

EVALUATION: Performance in this position will be evaluated at least once annually in accordance with Board Policy.
